Version used here
This note points to David Dailey’s family partnership version on Pagat. It is a named example, not a claim that every single-deck table plays identically.
The outline
Four players use 48 cards, twelve each. The sequence is bidding, trump selection, an exchange with partner, meld display and trick play. Its opening bid is 250. The linked account uses a target of 1,500.
A useful first read
Read the rules once to locate the stages, without trying to memorise every value. Then write each stage name on a card. During an open-hand practice, move a marker to the current stage so everyone knows which part of the reference to consult.
Before you play for a score
Check passing, compulsory plays and scoring together in the original. Do not lift only the opening bid from this overview and combine it with another page’s target or meld scale.
